My Gogo English
This series is a celebration of Gogos and their role in the lives of South African children. From working in a garden, to cooking jeqe, to a day at the beach, these stories give children an opportunity to recognise familiar situations and explorer new ones. They also encourage children to recognise with pride and respect, the importance of Gogos in all their lives.
The Gogo books are best suited for the Foundation Phase. They can be read aloud by the teacher or used by children for their own reading.
