Our Families are Different

If you think of a family as being a mom and a dad and children you may be surprised to learn about Faiza’s and Skye’s families. Both have a parent in a same sex relationship. The two children love, respect and care for their families just the way they are.

Author, Joanne Bloch is a renowned illustrator and author and began writing books for children in 2003. She has always had a strong interest in peoples life stories, and is inspired by courage and strength in the face of adversity. Joanne’s stories teach children to access their own strengths, and realise that they can learn valuable lessons from everyone they meet.
