The launch of the Pachyderm Tree took place at the Bellville Library and was attended by four prestigious schools from the Northern Suburbs, namely Bellpark, Boston, Durbanville and EversdalPrimary.
The learners from each school made beautiful posters depicting -what they believed -represented the title of the book. These posters were displayed on the walls at the launch and each school received a prize ( in the form of a copy of The Pachyderm Tree) for the best poster chosen out of all the particpantsfrom each school. In addition, various quizzes and tricks followed, which were very cleverly devised by Jill and each category was embarked upon by the students with GREAT enthusiasm!! (Not to mention the parents’ and teachers ‘wonderful support!!) A journalist from the Tygerburgeralso attended the launch and she will be doing a write-up on Jill’s launch, which is wonderful exposure.
All in all, a very successful, enjoyable day.!

Ziptales for fun and entertainment to encourage children of primary school age to rediscover the joy of reading.
