Shuter & Shooter has been certified as an SABS ISO 9001:2000 company by the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS).
What is ISO?
The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) based in Geneva, is a worldwide federation of national bodies drawn from some 100 countries, one for each country.
SABS is our national standardisation body.
The mission of ISO is to promote the development of standardisation and related activities in the world with the view to facilitating the international exchange of goods and services, and to develop cooperation in the spheres of intellectual, scientific, technological and economic activities.
The Organisation's work results in international agreements published as international standards.
What does SABS ISO 9001:2000 mean to us and our customers?
To be certified by the SABS as an ISO 9001:2000 company we have had to ensure that our management systems and procedures comply with the set international Standard.
Our SABS ISO certification is underpinned by three main commitments:
-
To strive for continuous improvement in all that we do as a company
-
To offer excellent customer service
-
To produce high quality products.
To maintain our certification we will undergo regular audits of our management systems and procedures to ensure that we are complying with the Standard. ISO certification will benefit our customers since we are obliged to abide by the ISO creed, "Say what you do - do what you say".
We are the first South African educational publisher to secure certification as an SABS ISO 9001:2000 company. We look forward to using it in the service of our customers.
